According to China Petroleum News (reporter Cao Rui, Ling Yong), on April 16, there was good news from Bohai Drilling Second Cementing Company. This company's independently developed new generation of high-temperature polymer fluid loss control agent has achieved breakthrough applications in both domestic and foreign markets, and has been successfully applied in more than 500 wells.
Before this, the Iraqi market feedback that traditional liquid water-loss agents have technical bottlenecks - after long-term storage at 60 degrees Celsius, it will lead to abnormal cement slurry performance. In response to this problem, the scientific research team of the Second Cementing Company carried out technical breakthroughs, and through more than 800 sets of formula experiments, successfully upgraded and developed the core materials of the BH-PAM high-temperature and salt-resistant cement slurry system. The new product adopts molecular structure optimization technology, overcoming the stability problem of high-temperature storage, and expanding the application temperature difference to 110 degrees Celsius.
"The new generation of products is not only fully compatible with the high-temperature operating environment in the Middle East, but also shows significant advantages in the construction of low-temperature wells." The company's research and development leader introduced that the new water-loss reducing agent achieved "zero water loss and zero sedimentation" in the construction of the X46-28H well in Dagang Oilfield at 40 degrees Celsius; when it was used in conjunction with the latex system in the horizontal well Su75-68-34H1 in the Changqing market of North China, the stability and rheology indicators of the slurry were 15% higher than those of the purchased products, and the cost per well was reduced by 30%.
At present, the new liquid fluid loss control agent has formed a full-process independent production system with "formula self-control and process modularization".
